  11. I really hate to share my story so quickly and fiercely, but I feel I
  12. should warn anyone about to buy a Toaster 4K: if you don't have a high density
  13. floppy drive, you are royally screwed.  And NewTek won't ship a diskette set out
  14. to you, in DD form.  And since there are a small small number of these 
  15. secretive Chinon drives, the world is a dark place.
  16.     So, if you get a Toaster, be warned that installation of the software
  17.  will be a new form of headache for you.
  18.     And may I quote Ryan/Spike on management's attitude about the Amiga:
  19. "We are more interested in supporting our other products, and not the Amiga."

  21.     Does anyone care to tell them they don't have any other products?
  22. I mean sure, there's lightwave, but that's software, and software support is
  23. easier, and less often.  The fact of the matter is they don't care.  At least
  24. the tech was a nice person.  Of course, the fact that it's still 3.5 software
  25. they are shipping also irritates me.  I sure hope it doesn't break.  Chances
  26. are that NewTek wouldn't fix it if it did.
